Fossil Housewarming Party

I've been invited to Fossil Housewarming Party at Lotte Shopping Avenue, but too bad I couldn't attend the event because I was not in Jakarta that day. While I received the event report in my email I feel like envying all the crowd who were enjoying the housewarming party :(
But anyway, here I will share the report so you could feel the same envy feeling like me! Hehehe.

Look at the crowd! They were enjoying stamping the watch tint with vintage stamp which is really showed Fossil's identity. And they even could bring the watch tint home as a gift, ah too bad I couldn't bring one, right?

Fossil's store at Lotte Shopping Avenue looks just awesome and daringly vintage. Well, for me, I really love anything vintage and warm. And once I look at Fossil's store that was exactly how I feel. It makes me want to stay there long and just choose everything I want and bring it home. Well, good job, Fossil?

Anyway, this season you can find Fossil Holiday Collection 2013 in its store. Sydney shopper bag and Georgia watch in gold? You choose which one will be your companion while sitting at a train looking at the fog outside the window in your holiday trip! Ah! I feel excited already just to see the catalogue of Fossil Holiday Collection! Guess I have to rush to Lotte Shopping Avenue to visit Fossil new store, right?

Carnival

Experiencing him is like
Being at a carnival in the shoreline
Even if it only happens once in a while
Still it is a carnival

When the carnival is about to close
And the amusement is about to end
The excitement doesn't just end
There still will be a firework show

The lights and the color splashed in the sky
 Will still be remembered
Long after I got back home
And on the way home
I can even still see stars over the shoreline
Along the road
I can even still smell the refreshing salt
In the sea
I can even still feel the wind
Slipping through my hands

Even if it only happens once in a while
The happiness lasts long

Recently Experimenting

Beauty essentials which are filling my beauty table, and which I love the most lately:
  1. SKII Facial Treatment Essence, been using SKII Pitera Essence Set since about 5 months ago. And I think I have to stick to SKII from now on. It really is not easy for me to find suitable face treatment since my skin is very sensitive. But SKII's product only give me fairer skin since the first day I applied it to my skin.
  2. Anna Sui Night of Fancy Eau de Toilette, no matter how much I try another perfume, this perfume is the only one I love to accompany me through evening event. It smells sweet, sensual, and it lasts long, yay!
  3. Revlon Nail Polish no. 730, the color of this nail polish is the only bright color which is suitable and match my hand skin color, and I feel sexy everytime I use red nail polish, well?
  4. Maybelline Watershine Liquid, the secret to use this product is to apply it slightly on our lips. And it will perfectly reveal the freshness of our lip tint or matte lip stick.
  5. Benefit Posie Tint, been trying the other lip tint before and quite surprise once I try this Posie Tint. The texture is almost like liquid, thicker than Benetint, and it matches my lips condition perfectly because it keeps my lips hydrated. And the color is perfect!
  6. Revlon Colorstay Eye Shadow, basic color and matte. That's all I need from eye shadow.
  7. NYX Provocateur Mascara, this mascara has two brushes. One with wide wiper which gives fuller effect on our eyelashes. And the other with narrow wiper and gives finer effect. Perfect combo in one mascara.
  8. Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner, the color is dark brown. So I like it because it blends more naturally with my chosen eyeshadow and it is perfect for daily application.
Well, do you have beauty essentials which you love the most, lately?

What do you prefer?

Dress (Exze), Jeans Jacket (Unbranded), Bag (Roxy), Shoes (Wondershoe)

Been discussing about preference with my boyfriend while waiting for his departure back to the place he study. And here are some of the list of my preferences, of stuff in life, just for fun:
  1. I prefer my desktop to be clear from anything. Just a matching background picture, and that's all. I love simplicity.
  2. I prefer less sugar and extra ice cube in my daily dose of coffee.
  3. I prefer english breakfast tea than earl grey tea.
  4. I prefer Vanity Fair than Vogue.
  5. But, I prefer Monocle than Vanity Fair.
  6. I prefer I Swear than One Thing.
  7. I prefer a smart gentleman who can keep the conversation going for hours without me realize.
  8. I prefer gentleman who doesn't spare much of his time paying attention to his social media.
  9. I prefer Thailand or Vietnam cuisine than Italian cuisine.
  10. I prefer skirt than jeans.
  11. But, I prefer dress than skirt.
  12. I prefer modesty than sexy.
  13. I prefer city tour --walking along the city looking for old architectures, stop by at a museum, searching for a small but nice coffee shop, and hunting in a secondhand book shop-- than highlands or beaches.
Well, that's all, for now. How about you? What do you prefer?

Let's Go to The Zoo!

Dress (Unbranded), Cardigan (Unbranded), Shoes (Wondershoe), Bag (Charles & Keith)

Even if I am not, like, children anymore, I still cherish a day spent at the zoo. There is always something we can learn from our surroundings, even from animal. From the way some animal are devoted themselves only to their one significant other for their whole lives, to the way sea otters hold hands while sleeping so they don't drift away from each other. There are a lot of things we can learn until sometimes we don't realize that there is something we can learn from an event that impulsively happen on our day to day. So, sometimes, it feels good to spent a day in the zoo and try to learn things so we could be better.

All photos are taken at Batu Secret Zoo, a themed zoo at Batu, East Java, Indonesia. Well the zoo is really like no other. It has a very interesting interior and a quite complete animal collection, and the stories and explanations which are written in every cage, about each animal they owned, are very educating! You could visit its website HERE for complete information.

And just beside Batu Secret Zoo, you can find Museum Satwa, a themed museum which display diorama of also, animal. I always can't help my self from falling in love with museum. So, to be inside this place, watching, reading, learning, and wondering, I feel like I don't want to grow up because I want to be able to always come back to places like this, whenever I want.

If I Should Have a Daughter

"Cause there is nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline no matter how many times it’s sent away. You will put the “wind” in win some lose some, you will put the “star” in starting over and over, and no matter how many land mines erupt in a minute be sure your mind lands on the beauty of this funny place called life." - Sarah Kay

Have you ever imagined before that a poetry can give you so much to think, to wonder, and to understand? If you haven't, you should really read Sarah Kay's poetry, or at least watch the video above. Happy wondering! :-)

About You and Happiness

Once I look back, into six years earlier, I could picturing all the fragments of the important phases in my life, and in your life.  I do still remember the excitement we shared, the day you were accepted in your undergraduate study. And today, you have done one more important phase in your life so, congratulation, you, for finally successfully achieve your undergraduate degree. Congratulation, you, for one step ahead into reaching the dreams you have dreamed about.

I am happy for you.

Today, I have learned one thing. That it is not easy to feel the bliss for someone you always share your happiness with, without being able to be physically present for them. Have you ever hide your sadness? Everybody ever does, I guess. Because sadness is one common thing which is basically not supposed to be exposed. But, have you ever hide your happiness? Not everybody ever does, I guess. Because happiness is supposed to be celebrated, happiness is supposed to be exposed. So, to sit here, apart from the one I wish I share the happiness with, to hold the thing which is supposed to be exposed, is not one easy task.

I wish you know how happy I am for you. Congratulation, my dear, bachelor of management!

I am The Subject I Know Best

"I paint my self because I am so often alone and because I am the subject I know best."

"If one can bring such a great effect like this, this one must be an extraordinary person. Her passion, her beliefs in herself, her ability to look deep inside and shows it outside, have all made this Frida Effect even still works, long after she gone."

Wandering Around (Part III)

Second day
So, more than half of my second day in Singapore was filled with Universal Studio experience. Although this theme park is not super huge, but the themed attractions are all really worth exploring until you will forget how much time you've spend on it. For a little brief introduction, this Universal Studio Singapore (USS) is consist of seven zones, which are Hollywood, New york, Sci-fi City, Ancient Egypt, Lost World, Far Far Away, and Madagascar. For more complete info, of course you can visit its website HERE.

Me and my friends went to USS by taking a monorel called Sentosa Express from Vivo City costs SGD3 for all access through Sentosa Island. Well, actually you could also take a cable car to go to Sentosa, but it costs much and luckily I have ever took that cable car on my 2008 student exchange to Singapore :P

Top (H&M), Jeans (Cheap Monday), Sandals (Unbranded), Bag (Guess)

So, right after entering the entrance gate of USS, you will be in Hollywood zone. You will find Hollywood Walk of Fame, Cafe and Bakery, Candy Store, and USS merchandise store. Of course, all of them are located in a great exterior which you could never get enough of!

It was a rainy day, so we had to wear raincoat when entering outdoor area

If you turn right, the next zone is New York. Yes, as what the movie shows us, you will find famous landmark of New York in this zone, like New York Public Library and New York's Apartment. I can't get enough of taking pictures in this zone! But aside from that, the great attraction in this zone is called "Light, Camera, Action" by Steven Spielberg. Right after I entered this attraction, there is this 3D stage which become a setting of major hurricane that happen in New York. Too bad I couldn't catch the attraction on my camera since it includes waters that can harm electronic devices.

Next, we were at Sci-fi City zone where you could find this oh-so-famous Battlestar Galactica and Transformer The Ride! One thing I adore about USS is that this theme park has a really good technology. The attractions are actually quite simple, but nevertheless it tooks a great technology to make it works.

The next zone is Ancient Egypt and it turns out I didn't capture any photos in this zone, pardon me, please? :P

At The Lost World zone, I watch a theatrical attraction called Water World. In this attraction, you will see a real mini helicopter fly! Sounds really interesting, right?

Far Far Away zone is magical. You will find this beautiful castle and other attractions with Shrek as its theme. A fan of Shrek? There is a merchandise shop in this zone and all is about Shrek, hurrah!

Madagascar zone is fun! Me and my friends join on its crate adventure on a river boat and meet Madagascar character along the way. This attraction contains bubble soap and fog, well it's all about fun!

After finished with USS, we ate at Vivo City Moslem Canteen and I found my favorite dish in Singapore: Yong Tau Foo with Laksa

And finally, as this second day closing, we went to Marina Bay Sands Skypark (costs SGD20) to soothe ourselves with this magnificent view of Singapore city light. Everywhere I go, I could never be able to resist enjoying city light. There is always something soothing about watching city light. It feels like even when you're enjoying this view in a solitude, you actually are not alone.
